Northern Stroll is the pinnacle of what happens when two guys with a shared passion and no sounding board decide to go all in on a hobby.

After enough weekends walking together with Adam doing his photography thing and James navigating flawlessly (and enough likes on our Instagram accounts) we figured the next logical step was to build a site to get you following in our footsteps too.

Visiting the North
Not only is the North home to some of England’s most beautiful cities, it is also a home to some of the world’s most beautiful landscapes and countryside.
The Northern countryside boasts an array of beauty spots including the stunning Lake District, home to Lake Windermere, the world famous Yorkshire Dales, the North York Moors and the Peak District among many other beautiful locations.

Peak District
It's easy to get your dose of countryside with this walk. Starting at Macclesfield train station, this route leads you out into the Peak District to the top of Teggs Nose.
Lake District
Starting at the Underskiddaw car park, this has the potential to spin into multiple different routes. Here we've listed one of the circulars.
Peak District
An easier weekend walk around the ever popular Dovestone Reservoir near Oldham, taking you away from the bustle and on top of the ridge for stunning views of Manchester.

We don't just hike and slap routes on the internet for free. We also carry cameras, drones and unnecessarily heavy video gear. And occasionally businesses ask us to use them.
